The Diploma program (now called International year one) will provide direct access to the second year of an undergraduate degree in Business at university of sussex. The academic requirement for the Diploma is good high school graduation grades plus up to one year of further study.
Lessons are taught on campus at the Mantell building and in other University lecture halls and all accommodation is on campus as well. You will be part of the University of Sussex from the day you start your course. A comprehensive range of academic facilities and support services at the University are available to you as an ISC student. You will also have automatic membership of the Students Union which runs over 115 societies and 38 sports clubs.
The University of Sussex was the first of the new-wave of universities founded in the 1960s, receiving its Royal Charter in 1961. It has since grown to become a leading research and teaching institution. Program Features
This international year one program is an intensive three-term course of academic subjects, study skills and English language training provides a direct path to the second year of a BSc in Business. This new 3-term programme will provide direct access to the second year of an undergraduate degree in Business at University of Sussex. The academic requirement for the Diploma is good high school graduation grades plus up to one year of further study.
Students will be studying all of the following seven modules:
- Accounting and Finance
- Business Law
- Introduction to Economics
- Organisational Behaviour
- Skills and tools
- Principles of Marketing
- English language course
The successful completion of the Diploma will give students direct access to the second year of the following degrees:
- BSc in Business (Finance)
- BSc in Business (International Business)
- BSc in Business (Marketing)
